COMPLETELY nothing to do with the engine but we were PDI'ing one the other day and the bonnet wouldnt open

Had to quick-cut around the Ford badge to rip the grille out. Didnt have one in stock so had to steal the one off the showroom car as it was going to a customer that day. Showroom car sitting with no grille!

rhys thats a good point as i never gave it abuse tbh, not my car as you mentioned and i work in the angel so not really good roads to get over 70ish tbh too , takes over a our to get to a country road so a detour was out of the question

supose the correct answer would have been " we get parts from germany every day at my place and theres a weeks wait for em, unless there on back order and then we DO NOT get told how long, just get told when there expecting em so that 28 days sounds a little,,,,,,, well not my place to speculate, ill order one in the morning and see what they say

I was a vehicle technician and commercial vehical technician before moving to electrics. My qualifications are mainly motor vehicle technician diagnostic and maintenance. To be absolutley honest, I have only minor qualifications in electrics, but I get more money for designing and installing my electrical systems and fixing other peoples electrical fuck ups than I did on the spanners. I am also a software engineer for the Omron range of PLCs.

I don't have any pictures of the car in it's latest guise. It has changed a little from the picture in the sig. I will get some next year when the sun is out again. I have a good spot for a few photos ligned up but it needs a clear sky and a sun set for it to work properly.

Depends on what the cun tsomer wants. Up until recently, I used to fix aircraft loaders, and have re wired the odd fire engine. Desinging slam locks and control systems for parcel delivery vans and other shite.

I think the main downfall of the after market tuning potential of the new ST will be the same as the FRS - its driven by the wrong wheels

The FRS engine and the "new" Volvo engine has tons of potential for BIG power but it'll be usless once about 300BHP or there abouts - same as Honda Civic's IMO.
