Loads & Loads & Loads lol
See you didnt realise how easy you had it with you old fiesta Buff
The thing is, my one will go for a bit without having to spend that much on it, then all of a sudden it will bite you in the arse and you have to shell out big £££
Just had to spend about £200 sorting my cooling problems.
Just before xmas too , i think it felt left out coz i've been buying loads of xmas presents

just finding my feet
ive spent prob about 7 to 8kish not including general running fees such as tax/petrol ect
and the cars not turned a wheel since april , cost me another 120 quid this week belive it or not
the only part that does hurt though is the 160 car tax THEN paying the 100 quid res permit too

I spent £1050 to buy the car 4 and half years ago and have spent another 5 grand on it since then and thats just on modifications, not even counting general parts and maintenance.

not including running costs and just on bits and bobs alone, the estate has cost me, since december 24th 1997, £36k
the 3 door only cost me £18k including buying it in the first place way back when i was minted and insurance cost more than the cars did
bought a front ended 24V which cost me £6 to put right
the saph had about £4k in bits spent on it
bought an XR which had the barest minimum spent on it (less than £200 )
got given another sierra for free and i've spent almost £500 on it in 2 years (but the engine was fooked and so were the brakes and all the suspension and now my old man has had a go at it and trashed both engine AND gearbox )
the 24V i bought the other week has so far cost about £240, but thsts tyres, tracking, bushes
and brakes
but at least i don't piss all my money up the wall like my brother does (but my mrs goes potty when she can't get the oil and grease stains out of the clothes i wear, and it's also difficultto get the grease marks out of the laminated flooring )
