cossie valve guides?? i suspect mine are worn as i am getting smoke when holding the throttle then booting it ( mainly in 2nd gear ) and then also on overun after a good thrashing.

how much do you reckon it would cost for a company to fit new ones??

sorry should have made myself clearer, i'll be whipping the head off myself and delivering it to whoever does the work. so it will be just a case of replacing the guides.

but even still, £1000 sounds steeeeeep for start to finish
