Powder coating
Is this a hard skill to learn?
I'm bored senseless at work, and think this might be a good business to get into (based on what I've spent on it for my car so far!)
Any info gratefully received.

£50k isn't impossible, but I need to do lots of homework first. I'd be giving up a well paid job in the hope of making a living doing something with some satisfaction to it, but need to be sure it will cover my costs and leave a wage at the end.

I`m sure you could do it with a lot less mate....
Jeff bought 2 new guns at £4k each and built 2 ovens,a run through for batch jobs and a big square oven for awkward stuff..
The running costs are high though you would need a couple of contracts to keep the bills paid, ovens guzzle the gas and the powder aint cheap, coupled with the rent on a suitable sized unit and a couple of staff(more for handling big and heavy items than skills)and a stacker truck for unloading heavy items.....
Dont think it would be viable if you just went for small stuff so you would need to spec a minimum set up suitable for decent sized items..
