im about to create a home made catch tank
right,i just want to know if the smoke from my exhaust on gear change is breather or turbo, the oil level is above full so it could be that, but anyway, seeing as the car breathes back to the inlet it could be passing smoke throught the turbo and out the exhaust,SO....im gonna move the breather pipe and put it in a coke bottle or similar (only for 5 mins to establish the problem!!) im pretty sure i need to let the pipe breathe tho,ie i cant just tape the pipe air tight into the bottle can i?otherwise itll just explode! is that right? can i just poke some holes in the bottle then tape the pipe to it so it doesnt come out? cheers!

Yes.
Each cam cover outlet goes direct to the catch tank.
Inlet manifold one is blocked with a wooden blanking plug i made from a piece of tree
AFM-Turbo pipe one was blocked off with a small wheel nut
Also removed and blocked loads of other piping too, all blocked with various things i found around the house, on the floor, etc
DIY tuning is ace fun.
