Default tomtom 5

lets just say I have a bad copy of tomtom5 eg it will not save home and has some poi problems,

Has anyone got a no buggy version I can test

You merely have to ensure the TomTom directory on your SD Card is not read only......(I'll bet it is!)

I have just reinstalled so I have rights to it and it not locked.

I think its just a dodgy copy

Johnny, when moving files to and from SD Cards, files can become read only - if TomTom can't write to it's directories, it can't save your home location/POI info.....

I agree mate, but how to I change it. there is no way on the IPaq so mabe putting it in a card reader and changing there ?

You should be able to change the file/directory properties in File Explorer ON your iPAQ itself, you can't do it by browsing to the iPAQ from your PC.

Not got my iCrap to hand, only my PDA/Phone - should still work as it's a Windows Mobile feature (select properties)
