As my last business plan went out of the window I decided to return to my normal occupation (systems accountant) and have just been offered a job as a business analyst back at IBM again so I'm well chuffed with myself this afternoon!

I'm going down the pub now so have a pint on me everyone

Lucky for some, I couldn't buy my way into job for fuck sake and I can't keep living off money I've got!! I've had load's of interview's but nothing ever come's off them.

What is it you do then matey? Don't get down or think it's you, there are a lot of variables and factors involved in employing people both from a candidate and employer perspective. I've employed lots of people throughout my career and I can tell you it's not a one way street.

The job market isn't very good at the moment anyway (in most industries) so you shouldn't become complacent and think it's your fault.

Life is a shit at the best of times, you just have to find a way that will work for you.

Most BA jobs require you to be ACA/ACCA or CIMA qualified (which I am) so they aren't very easy to get. You also usually need to have between 2-5 years industry experience aswell.
