Default CHEAP CORDLESS DRILL??? WHICH 1???(bought 1)

im after a decent cordless drill for when im tinkering round me garage/house etc,,

must have a 13mm chuck tho as my hole saw arbours etc are 13mm

been looking at a 12v dewalt,,

any opinions ???

DeWalt, Makita (NiMh batteries ) or maybe Bosch proffesional.

Check e-bay, loads on there.

dewalt ..cheap ???????????
in my opinion for general home tinkering you can't go far wrong with the B&Q own brand stuff cheap as chips with a three year waranty so when it breaks just go swap it for a new one??
personally i think Dewalt stuff is overated the only reason they so popular is coss of the vast ammount of places that carry spares etc

Cheap cordless drills are shit. The DeWalt will be a good purchase though...

DeWalt mke brilliant "guns", tough as old boots. Will easily handle a 10 foot drop from a scaffold, luckily it wasn't mine

I wouldn't go for a 12v though, 14.4 2amp. Heavy but the battery lasts ages. You will pay for it but the drill will last forever.

theres a lot of fakes about ,they use real dewalt cases and put crap motors in em

the erbaur stuff screwfix do aint bad for round the house, ive got an 18v dewalt for work and they are gd and a piece of piss to fix
