Which garage you on about mate?

E399 belonged to my mate rory and then sold it to my mate Gogs. He sold it a year or two back to a guy who worked at ford. I was out on my motorbike in july and passed Indy Car Sales and it was up for sale there. Its a shed tho!

G48 CVW?!?! where did you work on that? Im pretty sure thats "Dumped"'s reg. Marty bought the car from Newmachar 5/6 years ago i think but lived in Glasgow.

VIW is Rog and he comes on here under his number plate i think.

E399 FRS
My brother bought it from a right dodgy bloke many moons ago you know who you are

He sold it to my M8 Neil who ragged the $hit out of it and then sold it on to another M8 of mine called Charlie. He also nailed the life out of this thing for all it was worth. It then got sold on to a guy out at Banchory and then i started loosing touch with it.

My brother sold it on with just over 105K on the clock. I put a post up on here once and stated how well it ran for the milleage and got a reply from someone saying that it only had 70K ish on the clock oops

Lambchop

Clark owned G48 CVW but he either wrecked the engine, wraped it round a post or both (sorry Clarkie )
His talent is following him as well with that nice Moonstone 3 door that he bought from Nick. Put it this way the exhaust wont rust from the inside out

You should never try and find out your Cossie's history, it's like trying to find out how many blokes have done your missues in the wrong 'un previously - only ever going to end in tears

Worked on the cars in the garage at the end of my parents house(i was young when i had them).

E399 FRS was a really strong motor. i won a prise at the rs owners club too when i had it, i had just turned 18.. almost 10 year ago. Sold it to toughy jnr so i could buy a series 1 its had a bit of a life mark from aboyne owned it to.

Never smashed G48 CVW was like new. Did come from newmacher. heard it went down to glasgow when i got rid of it.

TEV well thats a story in its self.

Your correct mr tough the inside of my exhaust will not be rusting. The exxon valdees couldnt of done a better job..

Ye 18 in a cossie in 1996 was a bit special altho i had to work pretty much 7 days and every hour of overtime going..and was always broke.... fu*king worth it tho

Dont think(CVW) went back to newmacher,it was my company car you see

Does it have rondels on it? im sure i saw it in a mag years ago.

Must dash or i'll miss my tea. later all

G48 CVW is indeed mine And I have to say I still love this thing to bits - hopefully more so when i get home

..... it has had a slight revamp though lol

I got the car off my dads work - yes I am Iains son. Couldnt really pass it up as its all i ever wanted. I only knew that the car had at some point gone through Newmacher as it was on the plates etc.
Was a strong little engine in it. As far as i know it was running pretty standard when i got it but I think it had run greens etc before as that was passed onto my dad by your dad. It was chipped within 2 weeks of coming down the road. Ran like this for a good while and a hell of a lot of miles as it was my everyday car, ragged the absolute nuts out it but kept it good.
When a shootout came up for the mags we sneaked NOS onto it. So it was a stage 1 and NOS - did go pretty well As I'm sure lambchop can agree with our little run down the road Ran this for 6 months ish i think. Pulled the engine when the oil pressure started to get low on it and was filling it up too often. Apart from a worn oil pump and quite a few bent valves the engine was pretty sound. Corrosion in the head was welded up good and it was rebuilt to the 8 injector engine.
..... Yet more fun, limiter limiter limiter then i had a little oops with the law

To stop more oopses I did a deal with the engine to get the car off the road for a little while. That was some years ago. The car reappeared on the road this year with a new engine in it and a few other mods.

Body wise the car has had a wing as a stupid fuckin bitch neighbour reversed into it out the drive. But after sitting so long the paint has taken a pounding - so it does need a respray etc at this time - underneath the car is still very good so if things go well it will see a revamp

You will remember it like this but standard wheels

Its now a bit more like this

And and has one of these hidden under the inlet manifold lol - not piss taking

I hope your good

Martin

Its on the rollers in the 3rd pic alas its just a standard 2wd engine in it just now made out of cardboard and sticky back plastic - just to get the setup running

Clark - Cant remember your 1st name but did you not get an EVO after the cossie - like a zero fighter import or something. Remember my dad telling me something about it but it went offroad I'm out in texas just now so cant ask him the specifics etc. Sounds like there were lots of fun cars in the family Why my dad traded the M5 just as i got the cossie i will never know.... chicken!

Holly shamoly martin thats a big turbo . it does look a lot diffrent..(got any spares) good solid car. it was running standard when i had it, company car u see .i did put a chip in it but took it out fake A.B i think.

It was a evo 5 with mountune ecu etc . It did have a small trip offroad. (it was my dads i got relagated to a 1.6 golf) The sierra should of given your dads M5 a good go i think.

There were a few fun cars kicking around

Hope shes running well
