FAO Television / ELECTRICAL peeeps
i got a 28" sony television, but the picture is going strange...there is like a green "ghost image" around things
does that mean it pretty much foooooooked?
can it be repaired?

Does it do this on anything, i.e normal tv channels, sky, dvd etc?
If its the same on everything then its probably the tube which can be fixed i believe?

yeah it does it on everything.
less when watching a dvd, but still does it slightly.
tubes expensive. my parents just want to chuck it, but it too good for that

Sounds like the tube is fucked. The principle of the system works on the 3 base colours Blue Red & Green, The fact that things appear green means either the blue or red hue's are fucked. I think !
