I saw one the other day on M11, looks very nice!

 

My saff is stg.1, billys, poly bushes etc etc and i got tortured by a std FRS around Donny last year, they are bloody quick and handle very well, or maybe i just drive like a poof.

The £15k price i've found on several car brokers in the UK. Google it, there are loads for that price(even a ST2). Fookin bargain.
Used FRS or brand new ST?? You decide...

Managed to order one last month in the orange colour for january delivery ST2 version for 15K but thats with the privilage discount. Believe or not the orange colour is £600 extra where metallic is only £250 but looking at the orange in the flesh the other day makes me have 2nd thoughts maybe it would look better in the sun

Went to have a look at one for my mum today in perfromance blue (imperial blue) it was a ST3 with Full black recaros and xenons the Sony 6CD playe and quick clear pack thing for £19500
Inside it was loads better than the Focus RS I had.. much more classy and less boy racer. Especially liked the guages in the middle of the dash, they where like a modern Esc Cos version with the boost/oil temp and volt.
My parents are dicussing the car tonight and may buy it tomorrow for delivery 6th December My mum already has a ST170 in met grey only 6k on the clock offered her £8400 is that good(for a 2 year old car?)

im getting orange, SORTED.
some rs owners dont like to comment,praise on the st. but it was not new st owners who said its quicker than the rs , it was ford themselves.
things do change. you can not keep up.

not much to me, id sell it private if you can be bothered.
very low miles. but prices will drop with the new model out.
ive got to sell my TDCI focus zetec., and i will loose more on this than my previous two focuses. and diesel is supposed to hold its price better.

Apparently the ST3 doesnt have a rear bench seat, but 2 individual seats. Is that true?

 

Seen three so far, blue, orange and silver one between brentwood and london on the M25 look cool as feck

 

Think they look proper in orange! Wouldn't swap my RS for it though, Autocar did a comparison and basically said the FRS was a more special car with all the driver elements focused towards it being a special drivers car, where-as the ST is a tamed down family hatch.

Am looking forward to meeting the usual rep type in one thinking it's faster than my FRS.

I very much doubt they'll have the same 'tuning following' as any RS anyhow, as they're just an everyday run of the mill hatch which imo the majority won't be fettled with.

no mater what the car is theres a tuning scene and as such theres koney to be made, everyone who buys a fast car will want it faster than the rest, its human nature

hell people even chip the ugley as fook S13 , its not about the looks , its about pontential

its the big money cars people dont tune incase they loose cash, a 5 cylinder car that has a turbo will be made stage 1 at somepoint, not like the saph cossie is a actualy race car as such, thats just a fettled shopping car for dad

person i know whos drove one says its quicker than his LT escos

 

wolf tuning are already looking to use components from the v60r/v70r as their basically the exact same engine just slightly detuned... so 300bhp is apparently very easy to achieve with the engine..

 

I think this is true mate as i have heard the same thing from dealers

We've already had a drive of this, or more to the point, a chipped one and it's awesome! Check out next months mag for all the juicy details.

Suffice to say 260bhp in one is LOTS of fun. Having said that apparently they've used the weaker of the possible two engines available to them so it looks like pistons and possibly more will need to be changed to go much over 300bhp - No doubt that won't be a problem once the tuners get to grips with them.

 

2.7secs slower than a standard FRS round the Top Gear track, I rest my case, thankyouplease.
