You'll be lucky to find a used set in good nick IME.

hotter cams always sutation more wear due to the increased valve acceleration rates and the fact they are generally wokring against higher poundage springs and working more quickly due to higher rpm.

Be VERY careful to inspect properly, dont just bid on ebay or take someones word for it.

Hi Chip,
gave up looking for used items, even tried looking for full race spec head/engine with no luck
Think i`ll just order some new items from Burtons, cheapest place i tried so far!!

chip fella!
not being sarcastic but im not a novice with cossies/engine building in general matey..........
i run a cossie/rst breaker pitch aswell as full time job in the trade,

BUT....

thats a cracking bit of advice for someone thinking about buying any kind of used camshafts (or any used parts?! )
try not to buy the parts blind in any situation (without seeing them)
always ask for a "money back garuantee" in writing etc, did you know if a company sells you anything you have 30 days to take it back for whatever reason? Well you do! (But please DO NOT WASTE OUR TIME FOLKS )

thanks,

regards Sean

Sean, no worries, dont know you so wasnt sure what you know or not, i figure its better to risk telling someone something useful they already know than to not tell it to someone who doesnt know it.
