Default Photobucket.......

It appears that I have exceeded my Bandwidth with Photobucket or something?

Not really sure how what thats all about. Is is related to the amount of people that click on my links?

Is it worth the $29 to upgrade to Premium?

In English please??

Can it be used to upload Movie Clips? Or is that too much to ask?

I actually have my own Web Space with BT, but since changing my PC, I cannot figure out how to get into it!! I used to use CuteFTP for that.

PMSL. Its not that I begrudge the £13, its more that if I am going to pay, I want to make sure its the best bet.

Valid file types: jpg, gif, png, bmp, tif, swf

u get a 1gig of space
it worth it if u post a lot of pictures or if the pics u have posted are being viewed a lot, also minimum file size is increased to 1mb the bandwidth usage says its not monitored but they left a little note

"Photobucket.com monitors bandwidth usage. If you are using excessive bandwidth of more than 10 times the average premium account (approx 10,000 megabytes), we reserve the right to contact you to work out a resolution"
but i havent had any probs yet

this tells u about the ftp feature
http://photobucket.com/tutorials/ftp/ftp.html

and the xp publishing thingmijigamie
http://photobucket.com/tutorials/xp/xp.html

this could be good for vids

No, you've just gone over your set amount of image hosting space, either delete some pictures or upgrade to premium, worth doing imo

This is what it says.......

Album size 26.89 Mb ( 53.8% ) Total pictures 237

Monthly bandwidth 2603.24 Mb ( 104.1% ) Monthly hits 29425

My question was more along the lines of wondering if I am better off paying the £13 to Photobucket or whether to make the effort to get my Webspace sorted.

I've had BT webspace for years, isn't it still a mere 15 or 30MB limit though? I do in fact still use it, but had to remove some things as a couple of small video clips maxed it out

You might just about get webspace for £1 a month, but the download quotas are likely to be pretty low, meaning that a lot of hits and image downloads will soon have you website-less.
