Default Alloy wheel strengths, i.e Compomotive Vs. Kahn

I have managed to buckle another set of wheels (kahn) and getting tired of buying replacements, i was also considering changing the wheels anyway as i have got bored of the ones i curently have. My point is however, does anyone know how these two would compare, i would imagine that the Comps. would be considerably better? Discuss!
They're 18" with 215/35 tyres for reference.

215/35/18's will not give any wheels alot of protection IMO.

Compomotive Wheels are designed for Gravel Rallying, so will be stronger than most.

Compomotive use high quality primary grade aluminium, which is then heat treated for optimum hardness and the bolt holes have steel inserts to prevent ovalisation .

Obviously, this means they're not made of recycled baked bean cans like others seem to be .

Thanks for the responses, especially mike, it's always good to get a bit of technical insight into how things are manufactured.
I think i need to try something else wheel wise, as the same thing happened with the 17's i had too. Wheel shopping it is then!

Yeah i think i will, what size do you all have as ideally i would like 18" but i noticed that the COMP's are 8x18, do they not scrape at all? As the current wheels i have are 7.5 x 18, with no rolled arches? I'm no good with photoshop but i was thinking about getting black ones?
