Default Clubbing......

...Is it me, or is clubbing really shit now?

I even dragged myself on the bus to the club so i could have a drink, got there, sat in some little bar/room type thing with my brother and some mates, then we went through to the 'main club' which i was severely dissapointed with...

The tunes wern't too bad, all i got to moan about is the faxt they were mixing classic early 90's house/trance with R 'n B/garage! Spoilt the whole thing

Now i know why i've not been clubbing for the best part of 3 years, COS ITS SHIT!

Sorry, had to get that off my chest, really wound me up, especially when its £3.90 for a bottle of beer!

I went out tonight, had a cracking time, cant really remember what music was playing, didnt take much notice, but plenty of friendly fit birds out, which seemed far more interesting.

Guess a lot of it depends on the frame of mind you are in, personally i was so up for having a luagh tonight anyway i probably would have had a good time in a 24hr supermarket, lol

As chip said usually if your up for a good night out you have awsome time!

If i go out with all the lads back at home, which dont happen often that everyone is out as people are to busy. But when we do we always have an awsome time no matter where we go even if its the shittest clubs ever pmsl.

You think music is bad, come out over to the USA if you dont like Hip Hop your pretty much fooked

i agree, clubbing is shit now, this might just be me but dont you find the just turned 18 year olds who are out to get wankered are just fucking idoits, they seem to think cos the had rep in school that everyone should know about and its not until the get a good slap from someone else they quieten down.

besides that you have to chop body parts off just to get a drink, which becomes differcult when the above 18year olds start if i had 2 drinks im fucking armless!!!

Hmmmm, can't stand the little pikies, just turned 18 full of attitude and armed with a big gob that needs shutting.

Its a combination of a lot of things i suppose, i'm 23 in about a month, i've always been quiet through my teens, never went out, never golt drunk, had a dabble with coke and acid, but all i have now is a bit of green whilst at home listening to some tunes and chilling out.

I'd much rather stay in, have some nice home cooked grub, a long quiet smoke, listen to some tunes, and go on the net to chat to my mates abroad.

That as opposed to going out, spending £80 on 3 drinks and club entry, getting attitude of pricks, having a dirty kebab and then finding out its 3am and you cant get home.

Anyway, each ot their own and all that, i can see the attraction of clubbing if you're out to get wankered and spend your money on stuff you have nothing to show for appart from a hangover in the morning

Nightlife is very sketchy in the UK for some reason. Blackpool bloody rocks... somehow its just head and shoulders ahead of the competition, but i think to be honest we are spoiled here with our 2 huge multifloor superclubs, so we go elsewhere and its often a letdown

I suppose its all down to what you actually want from clubbing.

I very rarely go to you local "high street" club (Yeah sorry mate you cant come in unless you got shoes on etc) simply because that sort of thing bores the hell out of me! I know there are people that love it - and if your happy and having a good time thats the only thing that matters

Its down to what you want from a night.

I enjoy going out, but not to mostclubs, due to the fact that I don't like: house, RnB, garage, pop. Plus I refuse to go to clubs and just listen to it for the sake of socialising, because I can't socialise in this sort of enviroment Give me a gig to go to with a band that I think play good music and I'll be there

Don't mind going out to pubs etc, then just skipping the clubs

Used to love going clubbing but last few times i went the clubs just seem full of children giving it the Biggun all the time. Just can't be bothered with it now and haven't been for a couple of years. Can't say I'm in any hurry to bother going back either

I love "proper" clubbing with my kind of music, not R'n'B shit!

Its not a club if it plays it imo....

listen to the moany old farts

its the clubs you are going too are shite, theres still loads of cool clubs out there

my only issue is with all the after shocks ect im usually too wankered to carry on and fall asleep in there

as for moaning about 18 year olds fighting

you gonna tell me you never had a fight in a club too

when i was 16 ive been goijg to the pub like most and in all honesty ive been barred from a few bars and clubs

its part of life tbh

hell im STILL barred from 4 places that remember me

my advice is hit the west end and have a night on the piss there

start at lecister square and go from there

maybe its cause when you first started going it was all new ect, now its the norm and you expect it to be more than what it is

hell ive been to some clubs and found em shite when they used to be the bollocks

the best club i liked EVERYONE i know hates, wierd or what but i loved opera house ( used to be polo club) and went every friday and saturday. best times ive had are prob in there

up until the point i was kicked out and barred for double dropping a fewbad pills and i made such a cunt of me self ive never had the bollocks to show my face there again

infact theres a few good clubs round tottenham area, can be a little rough at times but its still cool tbh, just watch yourself

actually the BEST club ive been to is latleys in west hampstead as the guy who own it is a character

hes a star too, would go down behind the bar and do lines while the barman made the drinks as the gorden laced the toilets with vaseline so the new people didnt come in thinking it was a club like what it actually was

but for a night out it was a shite whole, was just a late drink tbh

elbow room in swiss cottage was cool too before it closed but thats cause we hardly paied for a drink in there

as said maybe you go the wrong places

Clubs now are shite compared with what they used to be. RnB all sounds the feckin same and I hate it.

What happened to good old thump and some proper housey tunes ?? The kids of today are far more interested in standing around trying to look good than they are in having a good time. We used to come out dripping wet and stinking like bastards (and used to still pull) and we had a bloody good time. Heaven forbid trying to talk to someone in a club now...........most couldn't spell their own name let alone string a sentence together...........

bollox, unless you got a fancy pair of trainers

ive had fights when ive not wanted em belive it or not, even had a fight with a guy who was a boxer, i seriously didnt wanna fight him as i knew i would loose

i ended up with a broken nose out of it too

cant belive you have never had a fight in public

unless you are such a passive person you would just do what they said or run like fook all the time

OR like IMA you never leave the house

I try and avoid it now apart from special occasions, go into Oxford and you stand shoulder to shoulder all night and cant get to the bar, once you do get to the bar they cant hear what you say then rape you for a couple of bottles of beer.

A good pub etc is what i like at the mo
