Just had to read this post again
That's fu*king amasing, 4 CVH powered ERST's running 160mph+ with these car's potentially one day being able to crack 170mph, absolutely Amasing!
Still can't quite believe it to be honest!
Very very well done all involved again, and that's absolutely everyone who attended.
And a special well done to Tony, that must have taken some massive guts mate, well done.

Yeah Big up Tony!!! He was absolutely shitting it, which I totally understand. We then put the Wideband and Det Cans on his car to give him a little extra confidence, with Gary in the Passenger seat.
I respect him for doing it and the look on his face for the rest of the day was much different to the one beforehand!!

Was an excellent day, there was a lot of power on that tarmac. Big respect to Tony, he look worried all morning which is understandable, but all that's behind him, he drove there, he did 2 runs, and he drove back He still had a few rpm's left but bottled it Can't blame the man really, 161 is still fecking awesome, everyone involved in the car must be chuffed to bit's, I know I am
Well done PF, top day out

He said there was less than 200 rpm left before the rev limit which considering he managed a 161.2mph means he got virtually every mph out of the car for the gearing he is running. I reckon if he had hit the rev limit at 7k rpm he would have only added another 1 mph to the top speed, but thats all guess work.
Well Everyone what an excellent day for it, couldnt ask for more

Thank you very much guys I can't believe it myself
But it's true
I think there is still a bit more left in the car. If I was on my own and with less fuel (I had a full tank more or less) I think I could hit the limit in 5th, giving me another 3-5mph roughly, and still leave me plenty of time to stop waaaay before the tyres.
I just didn't want to risk it on my own.
