How to send money to Germany?

I won a spoiler on ebay for 49 euros (about £36) but postage is another 52 euros and the bank want £20 to send this to the seller.

He doesn't do PayPal - anyone got cheaper ideas on how to get this cash to him, short of sticking notes in the post?

bank shouldnt charge as its an EU country.

ask his for his IBAN code, and transfer it like that and it should be free.

£21 charge - they say it is the same as a same day UK to UK transfer so legal.

Post Office will charge £12, or International Airsure postage is £4.

UK transfers are free aswell.

Not sure who you bank with but

DAMN! £21 fee to transfer about £35

As Nick has said, IBAN and it should be free

First Direct. Tried the Clydesdale too, but they were £24.

Bollocks to the bankers though, I'm just posting the euros tomorrow using Royal Mail Airsure.
