Why bother?

A 1.3 Mk5 Escort is a shed of a car -buy an RS Turbo in the first place!

Econmically speak it would be cheap to just buy a rST imo.

Yeah maybe....

How much is a decent RST gonna cost?
What stage will it be at?
Is it going to be a rusty bag of shite?
Is the engine gonna give up?
Are the components good enough to last while the new owner abuses it like the previous 15 owners did

When/If you build your own car you wouldnt have any of these problems becuase you know where your at and what parts are good or not.

Every car i have ever built is still going strong apart from a select few that have been crashed.

Econmically i would rather have a car that cost me X amount more and be happy with it in everyway! Rather than having somone else's loose ends and broken parts!

Only my opinion so roast me if you like

S2 RSTs just look chavvy and are not very nice cars to look at. I'd take a mk5 Escort with a turbo lump any day of the week.

Flame suit on
