What a guy!
I'd love to know all the things he's forgot.
Set my car up for me yesterday, fixing a few issues into the bargain, bit more boost, less fuel and better economy, couldnt ask for a better combination!
PROPERLY DESTROYED a Focus ST170 on the way home ... TWICE!!

Sounds good, but ANY Turbo car will destroy a ST170 (unless its Dan's RST 
) the ST will only hold its own against other 2.0l NA cars
So what sort of boost you running now Stu?

Tiff, when you say moved, what you mean, i say copy and paste it to here then we'll say what is different, such as the Turbo, Says stage 3, BUT stage 1,..

EXACTLY pal, its just not on.
And to be honest, Little Joe bought the wheels off the same lad and they were not described as they were tbh.
After speaking to Stu, the turbo was one of the main reason for spending what he did on that car, I know it will probably boil down to "Sold as Seen" but at least he has tried

i no, but to any normal person, a turbo looks like a turbo, so if told it's a stage 3, you beleive that person. we'll just see what happens,

Sold as seen fair enough but in fairness SOLD AS ADVERTISED otherwise you wouldn't have brought it after speaking to you several times about the purchase before hand I know certain issues where the reasons behind said purchase.

look right lets get this clear i took this turbo off another car which i was informed that it was a stg3 so iam in the same boat as you so all i can say is sorry what more can i do
im not a trader i dont have money lying about too refund someone who bought the car off me months ago
and little joe i never spoke too you your m8 stu sorted everything out with you too collect the wheels and the wheels were sticker pauls old ones so they were what i said they were comp,s

Like I thought it would be, "Sold as seen".
He told me the turbo he fitted was a stage 3 because he was told it was.
But isnt that like saying Ive got a cosworth, its 550bhp because thats what it said so on the advert?

Well from what i was told,the car was some uber bling car when Stu told me about it,and that its been fully rebuilt???
But now your saying (not calling you a lier) that you brought it and then fitted it??
I can see both sides here,but that aint really helping you Stu..So looks like you have paid Ł2800 for a more or less standard car...

yes the car is very clean and still is he was more than happy with it

I was under the impression that the lump had been rebuilt with this "turbo" thats the centre of attention...
TBH i think its just between you 2 to sort it... IMHO i think it was over priced anyway..But a cars worth what your willing to pay for it...

i will never sell anything on here again everybody has ago before knowing the full story

never said i had the block rebuilt, it was bought coz the shell was in good nick (found out about the fucked tailgate when i got there, he forgot to tell me, lol), had the TT stage 3 turbo, cam, half leathers.
even bought with a fucked clutch and standard alloys with mixed tyres on
120,000 mile engine
but I KNEW this, but I didnt know about the standard TT turbo that had scuffed blades.
can see where Ian is coming from, but I wouldnt have advertised it as a TT stage 3 turbo, when it isnt, without it being checked out.

Yeh he SAW the turbo,and was TOLD it was stage 3,but its not..If i was selling something id CHECK what it was before i told someone what it was ESP if it was a MAJOR selling factor of the car..
