To be fair to Martin, all I ever used to provisionally book was 25.

Maybe time for a bigger venue next year?

Apparantly, there is a booking for 60 on the night we are there, so they can certainly accomodate more. I suppose next year we should book more and then reduce as necessary . However, that doesn't help us now .

 

As long as the booking isnt for the pensioners that were near us last year.

But saying that, Raby pulled some 95 year old.

 

Bloody Hell Mike, what did you do to get that many deposits that quickly! Normally deadlines are extended by days or even weeks

 

He threatened to sit them with Churchy or Raby if they didnt pay on time.

As they have, Churchy and Raby will have their usual candlelit table for 2

Me and the missus last year went up for the meal, and stayed in the hotel.

Ended up drinking pints till very late with Gary in the hotel bar, and then going up to my plush room to find the missus waiting for me.

It was a VERY good night
