could fooked piston be confused for turbo smoking

as above....

if someone thinks the turbo is smoking, could it turn out to be smoke caused by fooked piston,..?

yes it can be with a bad misfire

Yep piston rings made mine do the same thing. Thought it was turbo for awhile turned out wasnt so lucky

yes, ive melted a piston on the edge before and it smoked like a fooking train!
