Default Pro`s and Con`s of low comp

rebuilding my engine in the very near future and was wondering about whether or not to got for low compression pistons?possibly a set of these:

i assume i can still run standard cams with these aswell?

...really depends on your mapper.

I personally only ever run 7.8-1 minimum whatever BHP i aim for..tried lower but drivability suffers...but then mine is only a road car..i guess if your tracking it lo comp is the answer....but not 6.9-1 low

Yes you can still run std cams with those pistons..but by the looks of the cutouts you could run 14's,16's...

Neil callans saff runs 6:9:1 but i bet thats not very responsive. What power do you want?

prob going for stage 3.they will be going in a 4x4 engine so it will be 7.5/1 CR.will a lower compression ratio cause more turbo lag or worse throttle response or any other detrimental effects?
