Deep DEEP discussion.... how it all began..... where it ends
Just back from the pub, and had about 3 hours on this subject...
"how it all began , and what is beyond BEYOND! ?
ie, my theory is.. usual story.. theres no god, no 'creator'
we have just evolved from billions of billions of years worth of advancement
BUT my favourite way of simplifying it is.....
IF you had unlimited air, time and resources.. if you travelled in one line/course.. where would you end up.. AND whats beyond where you end up.. what put it there.. and whats beyond that!

funny, I spent about an hour arguing with Jahova's witness about it yesterday. think I upset them a little bit ROFL
I beleive the same as you, theory of evolution. Life after death is a crock as well IMO, people beleive it because they dont want to accept death.

i think its something that our brains simply cant comprehend.
I.e infinate space and all that.
Its amazing really, as we base everything we know purely on what people have told us or is in books.
I.e there's such a thing as earth, there are other planets, stars are actually stars, the earth is round, dinosaurs, evolution.
Kind of makes me think sometimes, i.e very matrix style.

The universe is something on a scale we cannot truley comprehend.
My own belief is that we are just a tiny part of something so large, so vast its probably never ending.
People say "but there must be a end to it". Why must there?
I got a few theorys on this but its to late and I havnt done any drugs!

It is known that there is an infinite number of worlds, simply because there is an infinite amount of space for them to be in. However, not every one of them is inhabited. Therefore, there must be a finite number of inhabited worlds. Any finite number divided by infinity is as near to nothing as makes no odds, so the average population of all the planets in the universe can be said to be zero. From this it follows that the population of the universe is also zero, and that any people you may meet from time to time are merely the product of a deranged imagination.

Religion was brought about to control the masses, the big bang created us, we are not superbeings, microscopic bugs can wipe us out quite easily and the world will survive and indeed be a better place, so we are quite simply cannon foder for amoeba. Does that clear things up?
