I'd love to go to Australia! want to see what it's like over there. I think also this year I'm going to be skipping Central day and going over to visit a mate in Argentina.

i do know 3 people who have gone on a 1yr visa (work visa) and not come back that was 3yrs ago. there doing really well. you can get into the system easier if ya go out there and get a job. bascially they dont want ya being a lazy arse which is fair enough.

Whilst out there I met loads of people that went on the 1 year working holday visa, and have never returned.. like, 5 years ago etc..
my mate got deported tho the dumb fook detained in a detention centre in paramatta, sydney
this visa you mentioned, to actually go and live there.. is this the one that is done on a points system, ie X amount of points for education, X amount for trade your in etc.. ??

Stu - Oz business or pleasure?
Just been to immigration today to collect my permanent residency sticker for the passport. I can now remain indefinately and apply for a passport in 2007
That was the dream 15 years ago and I made it happen so wouldnt want to live anywhere else.
Would still like to travel the US. My bro just got back from backpacking round it and sent through some fantastic pics.
