and he tried A LOT to get it to fit, but it just wont

The drive belts of the pas pump? a few bolts and they are off

 

Has he tried to shut the bonnet yet?

BMW M engines could be fitted in cars costing 150-200k and nobody would complain.

I know ! Thats why BM wont admit one of mine has cracked and fix it under warranty for me

when i bought my esccos, in the garage i got it from was an e30 M3 with a M5 engine i was so tempted to take that out

though he did try and failed as the sump and steering rack gave him all srt of problems,

yet the e30 shell dropped straight it

 

I could make it fit...

as the 850 engine is only ( yeah i know) 5.5 litre and the maclaren F1 it 6litre

Also got a picture of it (the macca engine) out of the car but cant find it right now, that does look sexy (and like 2 m units).

Hope it doesnt suffer from the same vanos issues

 

well they are all of the S70 family anyway 850, macca and m8 not sure on the derivement of the s70 as to weather its 2 s50/2 or what

 

The weird thing about this is the e30 has a bigger engine compartment and it is easier to fit a big engine in a e30 than it is fitting the same engine in a e36..
That's atleast what's being said on norwegian beemerforums and some of the peeps there have tried a lot of different engines in e30 and e36..
Like the big sixes in e30 (the M5 engines) and v8s and so on. There is even a e30 with the v12 in it.. and it is roadlegal and has been seen on Gatebil

 

But i must say, the e39 V8 in an e30 is pretty cool, althou the car could and should have looked a little better.. but that's to each and owns taste i guess..
Imagine that v8 in a e46 with a supercharger...
now wait a minute, that's a good idea.. i'll go out and make one right now..

the car will be getting some paint, once it is all running sweet,

no point having a car look good it it cant go anywhere
