PassionFord Speed and Performance:
Most of you should have had an E-Mail about this by now, but i know a few get lost on spam filters and such like and this is a more elaborate version anyway.....
In a nutshell chaps, as many of you will be aware, PassionFord has had random speed issues for the past few months that strangely didnt afflict all users.
Due to this and a few other issues, Petrucci took the site offline yesterday and upgraded the software from scratch to a new version and made alterations to some Apache software too as well as adding a few feature upgrades that required offline work as well. We also contacted a Gateway Server about a latency issue to see if they could help speed access from UK to Toulon at their end for us as Pet had found issues there with the signal stopping and timing out at peak times in the evenings at this server... Bottom line is, we are back online, our state of the art Twin Xeon server is seeing less than 1% at peak loads so far and we are hopefully faster than ever before. 
You will notice immidiately a new and fresher mouseover version with no time limit that also shows smileys AND PICTURES!!
Banners are missing but this will be resolved ASAP along with gold memberships. More info about that here:

We have our fingers (And our webbed feet in Pets Case) crossed that tonight will prove all problems are gone for good, so lets all log in and test the server and software as hard as we can people, so with this in mind:
I would love to see 700+ online tonight between say 7:30pm and 10pm if i can so we can run some serious tests on the infastructure?
