im gonna be getting mine caged in the near future, proppa weld in jobby.

what i want to know is, can you still get the dash in and out ok as i may want to completely rewire the car too.

or have you all had to chop em in half?

If you weld the bars in i would have thought you would REALLY struggle to drop the dash out afterwards.

Nar,dash aint movin with the cage in,do what you have to do 1st...

the safty devices cage is shit imo being that far away from the A pillar it will offer no ridgid strenth
it needs to go down the A pillar and be pinned to the piller with long welds
my car has a ford motorsport 909 bolt in cage (STEEL MAGNISUM MIX)

yes i know its bolt it but its a proper thing

a weld in cage will have been deigned for the dash to fit over the cage
ie down the pillers

did you have to cut half moons out the back of the dash to fit round the cage?

i dont mind doing that, just dont wanna cut it in 1/2
