Default Will a T34 off a 2wd fit my 4x4?

Right, I've been offered a good cond T34 with a .63 exhause housing for a very good price, trouble is it's off a RWD cossie, whereas mine is a 4x4. So 1. would it go on, 2. if not, what would be involved with making it fit?

I thank u in advance for your help

Usually you have to turn the compressor housing around a fit a bracket for the actuator to fit
Not sure where you get the adaptor bracket from i would say maybe A1's or somewhere like that

Cheers Kev

Can someone expand on that, mr Rainbird maybe, or Stu?

Idear of cost would be nice too, to see if its worth it, but I'm guessin it will be. Would swapping my exhause manifold for a 2wd one work?

to make it fit your car mike, you'll need to take the turbine housing and compressor cover off and then rotate them and put it back together - there are little dots cast into the turbine housing and comp cover, these dots are to be lined up together with the oil feed pipe been bang in the middle of them - that way all the orientation is correct for 4x4 fitment

also, if the compressor cover has had its cast actuator bracket cut off, you will need to use one off a 2wd turbo (should come with one on it if its off a 2wd car) and affix this in the correct place to make it all good

a 2wd actuator bracket will not fit the compressor housing radius, the exhaust turbine housing may have been threaded and helicoiled these will need to be removed to fit the 4x4 manifold

I do have the use of a cnc mill, so if there is any holes or bits that need to be machined, it can be done, as long as i can hold it

Basically, I suppose the ultimate question is, is it worth it? It sounds ok though Cheers lad

Right.................

On my 4x4 manifold, using the actuator mount built into the compressor housing.

On the old 2wd manifold, using a custom bracket, and with the compressor spun through 90 degrees.
