Default Im new and need some advice.

Hi there im chris i live in derby and i drive a 95 2.0 fiesta si and i was wondering how hard it is to convert it to a turbo?
And what parts a prices or overall costs or would it be easier to supercharge it and how much are they?

Thanks peeps.

you need to lower the compression get a manifold made up, i think an frst/erst fits but the block requires modification to bolt it on, then obviously a turbo, better injectors, ecu i think some parts of the block require blocking off and rerouting for the oil, im not well up on zetec turbos so dont take this as gospel!

You can get good supercharger kits for the zetec from the states. I know someone who has one fitted to his mondeo. not sure what power he got out of it in the end.

on a stock 2.0 zetec, you can expect about 170-180 bhp with just throttle bodies, or 170 ish with carbs. up to 200 with cams as well. then it can start to get a bit expensive. loads of people have turbocharged them to good effect too.
