Default BREAK IN - PLEASE HELP

Hi guys,

After finally getting the money together to start the resto on my escort cab, i took it to a mechanic in reading and that very night it was broken into on his premises and i had about £4000 of audio stolen. They have also made a real mess of the car and stolen my dump valve, intercooler etc from under the bonnet. With no signs of forced entry and my car being the only one touched even though my audio is completly stelth and the headunit was taken out etc it all seems a bit dodgy. Anyways if anyone is offered any car audio (Jl audio subs, BIG directed Viper amp, phoneix gold bass cube and some other stuff) please could you let me know. I dont care about the stuff it is neither here nor there but i wanna get the c*nts who did it and teach them the bad side of breaking into cars . Anyway my baby is a write off now and i have tottaly given up on it after all the things ive been through with it, so this will be my last post! Thanks for all your help in the past people and good luck!

Shitter Sounds a little sus if you ask me, and if the garage left your car outside unlocked then suerly it's down to them to pay for the stolen goods? i take it the polie are involved (not that there a huge help) but under the circumstances i think they may take some interest?

Dont give up, get insurance pay out from the garage and get back into the game

The garage will be insured make the claim against them. It was after all in there care.

BTW it sounds like the garage your car is in, is a bit dodgy and someone who works there has nicked your ICE

Too much of this going on for all of them to be genuine thefts.
Make sure you pursue every last penny ..

amd try to get an "off the record" comment from one of the bill. Maybe they have an idea what they are up to .. but cant officially say.

if youve been reading the recent threads on dodgey garages doing work on car then stealing them then it sounds rather the same senario but theyve stripped it.

Should get their insurance to pay out.

You should be ok with the car to get it sorted by them.

One of my mate's bought a cossie from a guy who worked in the local car stereo shop when he got it they said it's had a new cat 1 put in and a tracker (that they had fitted) they gave him one key fob and one key for the car (which i thought was a bit strange as a new alarm comes with two key fob's usally) anyway my mate parked it outside his house it sat there for a week while he was trying to get his insurence sort then he came home after being clubing and the car was gone he whent in phoned the police told them they phoned him back about ten minute's latter and said that the tracker was not giving a signal so they can't trace it and none off his nabours herd the alarm go off so we recon it was someone at stereo shop that had it away but we had no proff so the police said there was nothing they could do but the worst thing was that he had no insurance on the car so he got f**k all back for the car

the garage said that if they had known i had valuble ice in my car they would have put it in the garage but as it was left outside they are not covered. I am going to my solicitors tommorrow to try to take it to small claims court. once ive sorted it all out i will name and shame anyway i have got alot of contacts at the local rag and he has already said that they will write an article about him. Should be enough to lose him alot of work. Just feel abit stupid leaving it all in there. Im far too trusting thats my problem!

It's not your fault at all, they left the car outside, which is fair enough in most cases, should of asked em to put it away really!, but they didnt lock it did they? so it is there fault!!! you will be able to claim them!!!
