Help re a CDRW!!!

Default Help re a CDRW!!!

...i burn a film onto a CDRW on one computer...verify its all ok....then i go to play it in another computer and it says the disk is empty Both newish machines.


HELP

I had something similar, before my computer went back to pc-world(long story) i had to stick all my stuff onto a recordable dvd and after i got the pc back i put the dvd in my pc and it was blank, gutted!

may be worth finalising the disk

also is the cd-rom in the other machine a cdrw as well, as some cdrw discs arent compatible with other cdrw drives.

As Stu.H said - also might be worth checking that you've not put it to 'simulate burn' before burning, as this just checks out how the burn of the data will take place.

There's an option for it in Nero Burning ROM software - think most other software will include it as well.

As per Stu - not all CD drives will read CD-RW's - use CD-R's as they are more compatible, but not rewritable.
