Can anybody tell me what the trim code is for an escort cosworth green hexagon cloth interior also what it would be for a raven leather. I am looking for the code that is on the vin plate. It consists of 2 digits.

Green hex cloth, pretty rare AFAIK, more commonly red or grey mate...

 

esides Im pretty sure the vin codes will simply determine the trim is "Raven" type... ie the dash and plastics are dark blue grey colour

 

My problem is ive got green hex and blue dash with code LW ford told me LW denotes raven leather but hes not sure

 

Raven is the name of the colour of the leather yes, but its also the name for the plastic trim...

Ask him to search for a seat cover or summat, may get diff colour options ie red hex grey hex green hex raven and the other one (Monte)

From what ive been told green hex is rare just want people have 2 tel me if they have same code for there trims ie green hex raven plastics = LW red hex raven plastics = ? etc

LW = raven leather just checked on mircocat

the colours they list for hexagon trim are

MALLARD GREEN HEX
POLARIS GREY HEX
PIMENTO RED HEX
IMPERIAL BLUE HEX

are you looking at the right trim code 5 box down on the left had side on vin plate.

 

Yes m8 just double checked 5th box down code LW car was made in may 93 if that helps never stolen or recovered but used abroad and was first registered her in june 94 do you think it could be a typin error when new like they do or somebody changed trim option cus on the originl bill of sale it shows up as cloth trim. does it really matter what the code says m8? as most people change 2 leather anyway. cheers for looking 4me much app.

I reckon its just the cde they put on "LUX" cars, leather was an extra option on them and they prob just give em that code, as most people would've had the leather?? still not been able to check mine, but I will, out of intwerest now, As my original Delivery sheet states Raven somewhere, I seem to remember, but obviously on mine that wouldn't have been raven leather, NO way..
