looking for cheap runabout - diesel fiesta?
looking for small, cheap runabout for commuting.
anyone got, or know of a fiesta (possibly van), prefferably diesel, for sale?
looking to buy next week, after moving back to berkshire / hampshire region
looking to spend less than £500 for a reliable motor if poss.
any tips on what to look for when looking to buy? usual rust places? common engine / fuel system problems?
running a cossie everyday is not an option at todays fuel prices

Lou Lou., yeah, looked on trader but would rather buy one from someone off here that you could trust and would tell you the history. thanks for the tip, and good luck in your hunt
churchy, cos that'll be cheap on petrol - not want something cheaper on insurance too, and cheap tyres etc.

I've found that life I needed.. It's HERE!!
Where abouts you moving to in Hampshire/Berks
Im in Farnborough and my mates selling a M reg 1.1 feista, really good condition, a few tiny specs of rust but much better then the average ones
just turned 80k, a years mot and a few months tax, he's advertising it for 500quid, would make a ideal run about

roybacer, rather not say exactly where on a public board, but not far from Farnborough at all
i'm interested - i know the old 1.1 crossflow engine quite well (bloody hate doing the tappets - that typical fiesta noise that you usually hear before you even see it), so could be interested.
i'll be in touch to see if it is still up for sale next week, if he's a bit flexible about the price.
churchy, half the car, yes. but half the bills
