lmfao....theres being an animal lover and there's asking for trouble!
Seriously....if there's a whole family of them they've managed to find enough food to live so far mate.
Give them the odd scrap if you want pet rabies carriers....but don't give them meals or they'll rely on you for them, and their cubs won't be able to hunt etc...
why bother really?....wait with your first aid kit and various sized splints for when you have to play animal hospital on the kitchen table
Find some hedgehogs to feed like a normal bloke saving the gardens wildlife...
