the sensor is oil pressure switch, shudnt have anything to do with teh gasket tho

build up of oil presure would have done the gasket, to much pressure something had to go.

the oil pump has a built in pressure relief valve though..

and the pressure switch wudnt of put the light on if the pressure was to high

I might of knocked it as I was changing my gasket then, im just trying to find the fault?

New switch then added to the list, easy fix or a new one and how easy is fitting one of those babies?

The gasket is not a pressure seal. It only prevents leakage from oil splashing from the cams.

Excess crank case pressure through worn rings/bores, or blocked, poor or insufficient breathers will cause the gasket to blow out.
