We're not really into equipment per say, but in managing the delivery of say a DSL line to you as a customer, or multi-site IP/VPN, with added services such as VOIP, Video on Demand, email, etc....

Our customers are typically ISPs, large and small who need a better way of managing customer orders than spreadsheets and faxes

Depending on who your current ISP is, your order may well have been handled by our software

Hope this helps.

for everyone

and

[Jim] Oracle is one of the leading database vendors, there are loads of people with those skills, you must have been looking in the wrong place, problem is, lots of people claim they are the dogs danglies, few actually are

[Edd] Er, NO , it's actually quite hard work

[Taz] Sorry, no.

[MadMac], responding to RFPs, RFIs and RFQ's. preparing and running demonstrations for potential customers, running proof of concepts and generally convincing people to part with loads of money for the best software on the planet

Anna, you have PM back, sorry, been busy

BillyCabrio, mattbibs, know what you mean, being on the other side of the fence I can see how taking people on without experience can be a problem though , we are very busy at the moment, and taking someone on who needs a lot of hand holding takes valuable resources away from the customers who are paying the bills.

Also, a person joining who doesn't get the attention they need (because everyone is too busy) will soon get fed up and walk, which is no good to anyone.

Keep looking guys and keep your chin up

Jim, don't know who your customers are, but people paying between Ł200,000 and of Ł4M for our software usually have a corporate investment in Oracle Databases, so that's not really a problem

Oracle IS still ONE of the leading database vendors Jim. Not quite sure why you would post that statement in a thread where Frog is advertising for roles. No need IMO.

Oracle was my speciality at uni with one of our DB lecturers being an ex Oracle US employee. There were also other ex industry employees so not just a biased Oracle opinion
