Stu - cab into town from there will cost a tenner i'd say. It prob is 3.2miles, but there will be traffic. Didsbury is a nice area, so u should be fine for parking. Have u paid a deposit? If not, i can go tomorrow and find a place thats walking distance from everywhere in centre.
Or - if everyone is happy getting taxis in - we cann all stay there, and i'lll book some minibuses to take us all in

The nights a no go for me then sadly, as theres NO WAY im buying new and uncomfortable shoes just to go out in Manchester... ive been out in Blackpool at two of the biggest clubs in Europe all night tonight, and just stumbled back in the house now, no bother from anyone whatsoever....

Rockports are largely associated with scallies in manchester so the doorman use it as an excuse to refuse people on the door as they can't be bothered with the aggro of saying "your a little scallie and I don't want you to come in".
So Stu i'm sure you will be fine with them as long as you don't wear tracksuit bottoms tucked into your socks, and a stripy henri lloyd jumper with your baseball cap on sideways!!!!
