My apologies to Bazzawade and Madmac
For friday night.
I am genuinly sorry for what happened and am deeply ashamed and embarresed by the episode.
I don't normally behave in such a way and hope i never do again, it was completely out of character for me to behave in this way.
Nobody deserves to get a slap when they're away from home having fun with the lads, and i have no excuse.
I didn't come outside for anything like that to happen, i just wanted to make sure Stu was ok, as i had apparently upset him after he called me a northern monkey and wanted to diffuse things after he had thrown a beer on the floor, and another onto the street outside when he left.
No matter what people say about me, i am not a thug, but i do get carried away a bit after a few beers and some take it the wrong way.
Stu, Baz, please accept my apology and don't let it affect anything in the future, i'm really not a bad lad when you get to know me

Well it was half my fault too, usually I'm quite thick skinned, but so much and all the piss taking that was going on and the large amounts of drink I couldn't tell the difference between a joke and proper piss take so I lost my temper and left. (I dont think either of us did by that point as the Northern Monkey was a joke too, for anyone whos seen lock stock that is.)
When you came out I was still pretty fucked off to mouthed off to, you mouthed off back and it got a bit out if hand and baz ended getting a fat lip.

erm appology after giving a guy a slap is all well and good and a very hard thing to do, respect for that but why wasnt it done THERE AND THEN 
did it take that long to make ya fell bad as personally i prefer to applogise in person as im sure you do your self usually
eberyone gets out of shape at times and it does spoil things,,,,,,,,,,, hence why i try not to mix with board members at the pissups anymore

Top respect to bazza for standing up for his mate even when risking getting hit doing so, we can all use a friend that loyal
and respect to you for apologising over it all, everyone makes mistakes, how you deal with them seperates the men from the boys

Still nothing Johnno can do now except apologise which he has done several times.
Its lucky in a way there werent more people around at the time, cause people like myself, jamsportdan or stumsd would probably have not been able to stand by and watch that happen and before you know it there would have been a big punchup or something, so all in all its lucky it ended how it did.
I think its a VERY safe bet though to say that anyone involved in violence on the next trip wont be humoured so well, its not even vaugely the spirit of the trip.
I hope it doesnt put people like Mike off coming the same dates as the rest of us.

Chip - wasn't there, so can't comment really, but I've met Baz a few times and he's a sound fella.
Know Jon too, and even though he's a big coont , he's a good lad too, and fair play for the apology. We've all done silly things after too many beers - just look at that thread of me dancing for proof

agreed it does seem a bit of a BRAWL this ring trip!!
I think i will go with PON next time.....then we can pull up to the fire, put on our slippers, pull the rugs over our knees and he can talk to me on how it 'used' to be back in the days!!!
