Who else is back from the RING!!!
All I can say AWSOME AWSOME AWSOME AWSOME AWSOME
Even if I did crash the car
The only bad points about the trip was the rain, rain and more rain, for which all the smaller lighter cars didn't do to well in (including mine ) and the childish attitude of a couple of people who went (who I wont name as I can't confirm anything and TBH dont want to be involved) which put a spoiler on it.
Nurburg is such a mental place. Petrol heads heaven. Even the coppers are cool about everything (including CraigN doing a hand brake turn in the middle of the street )
seveneights and Jamsport Dan are probably the funniest people I have EVER met ("Are you telling me..." and "NOOO Your shitting me!!" )
Everwhere I went they all served BRILLIANT food, and all for about 20 euros for a meal.
I would like to go on and on but I'm knackered and need a bath, so gonna finish with saying big big BIG thankyou for everyone that organised the trip all the people that came along and making it one AWSOME weekend that I will probably never forget

Stu, you mean not enough to just swipe the armco, your looking to have a proper accident next time?

Bill,
I got stopped by French customs before I even got on the train and got told I had to put the number plate on or go back home. Luckily it was in the car with sticky pads aqlready to just peel off and apply for just such an occasion 
, so all photos at the Ring will have front number plate on . Rest assured it will be coming off when I clean the car next .

Back in one piece...i never lifted a spanner to my car all weekend
Oli cracked his exhaust - got home ok
Lynsay looked like the turbo had gone - limped back @ 60-70mph all the way - missed the train and came back an hour later...
The mk2 never missed a beat.

A little water loss from mine but apart from that, all fine & well.
Funniest moment, watching Dingy trying to control his car round the first few laps in the rain and greasy track....so much power it was side ways on idle

Got back this morning at 1:15am - still absolutedly knackered so I've given myself a day off today!!
First half of the trip was AWESOME - big thanks to the ppl who took me out - most memorable of laps had to be with Dingy & our hot lap - unbelieveble car with an equally as impressive driver, & CraigN...scared the pants off me - cant wait to see his footage......the rest of the trip....well its history now with about 5 different versions of events floating around - I know the truth thanks to the wonders of MSN chat logs - a copy of which can be obtained upon request if the need arises!!!
Apologies to everyone who got dragged into it unnecessarily.....the beers are on me next time we meet!!!

I got back from Holland yesterday, had an awesome time over there!
Highlights including a lap of the ring piloted by Mike R!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks again very much for that Mike! Nothing I can say apart from amazing car and amazing driver! Hope you sorted the boost leak
Also went out with Craig N on his second lap of the ring, well impressed! The saff had loads more grip than I could have imagined and Craig wasnt sparing the horses! Well done mate!
Other highlights of my trip included being stopped by the German Police when we drove into Germany for suspected drug trafficing, and me forgetting any form of ID
The European Ford show in Holland on the Sunday, REALLY cool, some superb cars there, including Steve Scott in the mk6 Fiesta which dominated the sprint event! Took home first place, with an A1 Escort cossie taking second place! Very good promotion for A1 Rallysport!
I drove my mates mk5 Fiesta Zetec S on the way back from the show and met up with another ZS on the motorway. Had a good laugh with the lads in that and duly kept up foreign relations by smoking them in a traffic light grand prix
Good to meet everyone at the ring, excellent to put faces to the names and hear some of the stories of what had been going on!
Again, Big thanks to Mike R and Craig for taking me out and a huuge thanks to my good friend Martein for the whole trip and organising everything

Im back in England but aint home yet, had a sunroof blown at on me a silly speed
