Guys, was tidying up some wiring behind the dash yesterday and i seem to have ballsed something up!

now my gauges dont light up, the stereo dont turn on, the foglights wont go off (with the lights on) and the central locking doesnt work!

wish i'd never started

the most important thing there is the central locking, so does anyone know what circuit or fuse etc. the central locking gets its power from, and where it earths? as i could have inadvertantly disconnected something.

i'm thinking maybe i left an earth off (i had the big one behind the clocks off, maybe i didnt put it back on) the only other lives i touched were for the stereo, lights, and clock (i cut the clock one off as it aint there no more)

did you take the live off the battery when you was fookign about with the wires?

but im gessing if you cut sumthing off then and it all worked ok b4 then that might be the problem lol

you have probly burnt sumthing out then cutting the wire

correct, fuse blown

central locking, stereo, interior lights etc. ll off the same fuse

also the lights... i had the foglight switch on bak to front

the gauge lighting was just a loose connection on the scotchlock (erm, i mean soldered joint ) for the +12v for the bulbs
