Default Alloy wheel security

Am going to be purchasing a set of locking wheel nuts, but which are the best ones to get?

Is there ANY that will not come off with an undersize socket and a 3lb hammer???

Your thoughts please..

Stu, all can be got off in the end.

but not in your driveway in the middle of the night.

Its only when they find the locking nut they can do it quitely.

McGuard I beleive are one of the better makes. They won't get them off on your drive overnight without some serious noise.

They are the ones where they only do 10 different ones.

All colour coded and if you buy 10 different sets you will have all the keys foe ALL the Ford wheels.

TBH it was from an article in the RSOC.

Martin, think that was his name,he had a focus RS and did a feature on it etc...went through the lot.

He said about the Ford locking nuts and said to change them as the focus had them on and sugested owners changed them to another non-Ford set.

I also have a focus and the locking nut in my car also fitted my mates car.

Just a bit too expensive.

Do like the red ones though.

If i were to buy Davess car..say 4.5k, i might aswell sell mine the way it is and add the 4.5k to that and buy a cheap escort cos, save me all the messing around.

Sorry Stu.
