Default I want a cosworth
Hello everyone.

I am new to this site and just sold my Impreza but now want a cosworth.

Can anyone tell me how much a 400hp conversion on a sapphire will cost please and what i would need to do it. My car is stage 1 270hp at the moment.

Can do all the mods myself as I am pretty handy with spanners

wont be doing a 400bhp convesion yourself mate as you'll want the engine out and apart to be rebuilt with new "bling" bits

you could DIY up to about 350 as long as the engine aint about to shit itself.

what about a stg3 conversion, 330bhp, all bolt on bits, and very nice fast road car

i think you can get about 380-400bhp on a std engine, but pushing things bigtime (i could be wrong, going from memory)

Bigger turbo,set of greys,ported head,uprated intercooler and good maping will see what you are after.

Thanks for your help jim. Looking to buy a 4x4 off my mate as he has just been banned from driving. My imprezza was 300hp but he say it could easily do 400 with the right bits.
