Default Stupid PC really slooooooooow at startup-help please

When I switch it on and it gets to the desktop if I connect to the internet via broadband and then go onto Firefox it takes bloody ages to bring the home page up ,why would this be?, it used to be fine and Outlook express is still quick if I chose it, it is now a complete pain -any ideas PC people

Delete all the cache and stuff in firefox

Id say its full of spyware and running programs ya not aware of and other shit like that.,

Mine used to take ages to startup and shut down. Id turn it off, go to bed and it would still be humming 10-20 mins later

I got a new pc recently and cant believe how much faster it is !
