I thought Kev was in

Only takes 1 car to win Team Ronnie won the first year and the second bar a couple of other quick cars the 9.95 skybus and Norris's Evo what else was close ?? this year there seems to be more competition the CRD supra and Scooby look good but can they deliver

Not been a good year for cossie what with accident thefts etc lots of stuff in the pipeline Ranj Brom Sean Martins etc etc

Its never a good yr for cossys it seems.

Agree tho, only takes one to win.

Think CRD will do well, think they entering a skyline aswell? and this RC Evo VI looks a handy bit of kit. Gunna go up on Sun, see wot else is kicking about.

All about money at the end of the day seems alot of other owners of other marques have some serious money to throw at cars not that a big power cossie is cheap but cheaper than a proper power skybox for example

maybe the focus cosworth will inject some new owners and more money etc in the RS scene

I seriously doubt it, the cosworth is dying IMO, cant compete with the newer stuff, and in a few yrs it'll be cheaper to tune the new stuff as it is to tune cossy's now, that may kill it totally, except for the hardcore of course.

all it needs is for ford to win a WRC championship and launch a decent next gen 4x4 Focus Cosworth thats tunable, maybe another Focus Rs and a Fiesta RS.... IMO Ford Motor Company hold the key to whether the scene lives of dies out slowly with what they offer for sale to the public

The sad thing is, even if the Focus WRC car does win the championship, it is now powered by Macom Wilson's companies (M-Sport?) engine as of this year rather than the cossie engine. So based on that there will never be a Focus Cossie even if the Focus won, unless it's a badge engineered job only like a 'MG ZR' lol Rover 220.

I think Ford-Cosworth racing only makes F1 and Indy engines at the mo......

Going back to the subject it does seem like an unlucky year with all the Cossie big hitters being out one way or another Such a p*sser that Martin had the accident, I was soooooooo looking forward to a Martin Reyland Vs Norris Designs grudge match!!!!

Come on lads sort it out, the Cossie team seems to be getting weaker and weaker each year (no disrespect intended with this comment).
