That escoss is defo the same one that Andy from north london tried to sell me about 2 years ago ,
Also ,,just so you know ( not trying to be funny ) motorsport escoss"s are available in other colours than white ,,sorry Tony
I had a malard green motorsport escoss ,,
All the white ones where motorsport trimmed shells that left ford incomplete , they also sold road going motorsports in many colours , these shells were fully seam sealerd and had a proper chassie number and proper colour plate like a lux model

Does certainly look like its had its fair share of plates on it.... Why dont you prove EVERYONE who Is suspiscious WRONG by getting local traffic plod to fully inspect the car and give it a clean bill of LEGAL health, they can come and strip my car, I KNOW its 100% legit... Would you let them do the same?
I also was led to believe M/Sport shells only came in White, they and the M/sports which are about now have been a white shell painted..???...

Now I think back, there were road going "motorsport" versions made yes.
But they all had ID like you said, only the white trimmed shell was sold with no ID hense my question.
This has obviously been running round as a cloned car and now it's being sold it can no longer do that. Now it isn't for sale anymore so I guess the owner will have to "buy" an ID from a trader like he keeps telling others to do. Probably originally too scared of it getting put on a Q plate if it was done back then through DVLA.

just to clarify one other little point,you could buy a motorsport shell from ford,either 3 door,saff,or escort.with a factory sunroof.
part number for this shell is 9095585
why give the guy such a hard time?
i cannot imagine him buying the world rally car parts off me that he wanted if he isnt going to use them.

its not ilegal to sell a body shell with id and transfering all the bits over in to a new body shell and id as long as the new shell dont have id stamped into it so it will be a re shell

its only allowed if its a BRAND NEW SHELL and theres other parts of the car carried over with it
using a second hand shell with no numbers is still a ringer, when it gets inspected ya would have to prove with a invoice that its a new shell, if ya cant its a q plate,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, actually i think there now taken to the scrap yard in the sky
btw i dont doubt abs as having a crystal blue saph cossie,,,,,,,,,,, ive seen it

Best one that sticks in my mind is esc cossie, was imaculate on an q plate, story was, from the owner right off form belgum and reshelled ,why he wanted to tell us this at the time must have been guilt we never asked he was only in for a bolt on 360 bhp conversion.
It was obvious when fitting the necessary parts that the car was a factory built m reg car for the uk market.Close examination whilst fitting the exhaust revealed that some one had gone to a serious amount of trouble to replace the floor pan with a new one even down to the number of spot welds,every other part on the car was original factory fitted obviously the engine numbers had worn off in the british climate lol.

Turbosystems, unless you can prove were you bought every thing from and if its all cosworth parts and then then will give it a log book well thats what i was told i could be wrong

obviously the engine numbers had worn off in the british climate lol.
, that made me spit me coke out abs just means ya cant identify what the orginal year was and if the car is mostly the reg its claiming to be
dont mean its nicked but as soon as ya see a bmw M3 on a q plate tell me that ya honestly look at it and think its a rebuilt car from a second hand shell or a ex works shell

its a sore subkect but hes got one of theMINTEST s1's about, they used another shell as the s1 one was sooo rotten, he proved it wasnt nicked and all the other parts wasnt either

Tim of course you are right and that number would be on the VIN plate attached to the shell that this car doesn't seem to have!
As for him buying parts from you if he was going to use them on this car then it wouldn't be for sale as is would it?

As for it never going on a Q! If you want to put that car on the road 'legaly' then that isn't for you to decide. That is the jurisdiction of the DVLA
