Private plates>who has one?
What did you buy and is there a story behind it?
Did you inherit one?
I want 51UDG but cant get it even with A, B, C, D, E, F suffix before it.

Wanted a PVt plate for the cossie for ages as imo it just looks better with one
After leaving work for uni, i was due a tax rebate, i nly thought it would be about Ł50 coming back as i finished about half way through so thought i would have paid about correct amount. But 10 months later i was a bit skint so calimed the money back and had a bit of a surprise! lol so out of the money i bought my plate from the DVLA as if i didnt do it then i dought i would have ever done it.
Here is what it looks like on the car:

I have A5 MUC ,
I had a white saff years ago and everyone said they were common as muck
AS muc , I had common written on the top of the plate

I then bought B5 MUC to go on my escoss
means nothing but looks great when they are parked next to each other

the 3 door & saff both have 3 digit plates so they don't look to bad, we nearly bought B3 AST for the fiesta (looked like BEAST) but as it is Sassy's car we didn't bother as people might think the plate was decribing her
for the escos we have E6 COS, the 6 has a tiny mod to make it look a bit like a 'S' so it reads ESCOS

i have one too,,,,,,,,,,, F487 AUF,,,,,,,,,,, its a special plate thats only available on a cossie, to make it personal i changed my name by deed poll,,,,,,,,,, cost me 50 quid

Funny thing is i have been offered Ł1800 off a guy for it because his name was John Peter Harrison and he is part of the Caterham 7 Club and has a Caterham 7.
I wanted to sell it but couldnt as it was a mint present from my old man
I have phoned and called DVLA and all the reg places because im really want
HES 510N
It spells my surname perfect HESSION

But really i bought the car from the auction, after 6 months of ownership my mate said to me,
"howcome you aint spaced the numbers" (B19 9 DCA)
"I said, erm shit, just realised, was on the car when i bought it "
Sold the car for spares so the plates lost in DVLA heaven now

I've got B19 TJA on retention. I bought it for my last Cossie but this one's already got a COS plate on it so not sure whether to sell that and put my other one on it.
The B19 is because I'm tall (6ft 3) and the TJA is my initials, Trevor J Atkin.
