PASSIONFORD ROLLING ROAD DAY - NUMBERS NEEDED
I have access to a set of rollers (2wd only) and was wondering if anyone was up for a rolling road day - will be based in Watford and refreshments will be provided.
Not sure on cost yet but the more peeps there are the cheaper it becomes.
Oh and seeing as we are only down the road from my mate's unit, if anyone wants to pick a mini moto let me know
Rolling road has been proved to 0.1% accurate according to the techy matey. Said company also do brakes and brake conversions.
It will have to be held on a weekend, most likely Saturday but no date has been agreed yet so let me know if you are interested and an approx date.

roosie done mate
westlife - i was prob busy perving over all the nekkid birdies everywhere
car was fine apart from a slight boost prob which i think might be the inlet gasket, but then on my third session i blew the boost hose off, also lost over a qtr tank of fuel around the track as it was pissing out the fuel filler cap and blew the centre box to smitherines - sounds like an F1 car

whatch everyone flock to the rolling road day now you're not going nothing major -
my mate's saffy started to knocking on his first session so he pulled into the pits a little early. Then didnt drive it all day until hometime where we stayed at a fairly slow steady pace until halfway home when it finally gave up the ghost and I had to tow it with hardly any boost and 4 people in each car. Uneventful huh

Lorraine - can you let me know when Matt is thinking of arranging this as I will then do it a few weeks after.
Im currently thinking of one of the first two weekends in October, have not found out about any magazines at this time but if you guys are reading this come on down

I don't think you're gonna get any serious contenders until we know what rollers, how accurate, what they measure to etc etc...........
A RR day at my mates lock up sounds a little unprofessional for my liking. Plus, I'd rather get a figure at Power Engineering, as the results should be much more "agreeable"

Pon, this is not my mates unit. His unit used to be next to this one but he has since moved to bigger premises down the road and does not have anything to do with cars totally different products
As for make, I will have to call them and ask them the manfuacturer of the RR. As for what it measures, dont they all measure the same things
Last time I was at a RR day on PE's rollers they were far from accurate
and maxed out at 380 bhp and gave the same cars several different figures on different runs
