Bugger, just snapped this in the block :wall:
Just snapped this brass T piece in the turbo oil feed hole, its in a really awkward place but i managed to put a thread through the snapped bit in the hole but havent managed to get it out.
Any suggestions on how to get it out, we had a kit with different sized bits to get things like this out were i used to work but that was only for light stuff, this is in quite tight and obviously has PTFE round it with being an oil fitting, will one of these remover kits be upto the job? i could just cap it off with a bolt now it's threaded but i'd rather get it out!! I know its not a ford but principals are the same for stuff like this, any ideas???
Edit: Just found this, will this do the trick??

can get em from halfords
Great until they break off!
Find an engineering supplier and buy from them, as always you get what you pay for, Halfords stuff will snap and then you're buggered.

For fucks sake, the problem aint gonna be getting it out, its finding another pissing T piece with the correct threads, tried all my local hydraulic, compressed air and motor factors but none of them have anything like
May have to re-use this by drilling it straight through and running an m14 tap through it

DO NOT BUY CHEAP EASY OUTS! stuff like halfords ones are total bollox, and they WILL snap off, then you wull have serious grief drilling the easy out- out, lol.
Dunno why Halfords tools get such a slating, I've had some of their Professional stuff for years and it's outlasted a lot of my better branded stuff. It's not as though some 16 yr old menace is making them out the back of the shop, they only get buy them in.

Also, their professional range is VERY good as i use the ratchet spanners at work and had them a year now with no problems.

whys it not right? no ford block has an M14 hole, theyre all in imperial the only reason those ones wouldnt suit you is if they were a bit too long (as theyre almost 2 inches!) the ends on them are perfect
