It seems you are in much higher spirits I know it doesnt help but looking at the pics, you have come off lightly... DEFO looks repairable, be aware you could have bent the beam, or beam contact points , or track control arms before you start repairing the rear 1/4 panel/replacing the front wing....

IMO the FIRST thing I would do would be to get 4 std wheels on it then get a 4 wheel geo carried out so you KNOW EXACTLY where you stand mate... just to be sure, though it does look like the alloys have "taken" most of the impact..

The car seems to drive ok Damo. But i will be checking everything Steering is out as the wheel is not central anymore that looks like front passenger side wheel.Got a spare rack anyway.

Standard wheels are a no go as they wont fit over brakes. But will get something sorted

Gutted to see it like that Steve.

All the time and effort you put into to it too.

Still, it can be fixed and be back even better than before.

I know what you are going through aswell.

Thanks for all your comments ppl.

Just been back to sight of crash to pick up bits that fell off(rs500 grill and indicator lense). And trying to piece it altogether.Have taken a loads of pic's that i will mess with tomorrow to to show wot i think happened.Seeing the sight in daylight has proven to me that i was relly really lucky to get away with the damge i did as we missed a few harder objects(lamp posts and trees) and a ditch that i think would of defiantly tipped us over.the accident seems to have lasted around 400 yds and included bouncing off nearside kerb crossing road to other side and impacting kerb/hedge at least twice.Stoppping just feet away from a solid sign post. Will put modified pic's up tomorrow.

And car will BE BACK

Everythings Been Said Really. But I'm confident that over the winter she'll be built up again and just as good as she ever was.

Stick with it Steve, and look forward to seeing her all nice and shiney early next season.

Just take your time, and don't rush it, and she'll be as good as ever.

Glad to hear your both ok.

Regards Jim

Right then.Pic's of crash sight and wot i think happened

Wot i think happened and how lucky we were not to hit trees and ditch.Notice no lighting on road at all and tree cover to stop wet patch i het from drying out.

1st impact that we think took out bead on passenger side wheel and fooked rear wheel and also fooked exhaust back box.

Mounted kerb after 1st impact and travelled along here. Can just make out sign post at top of picturethat we were lucky to miss.

Skid marks across road.

1st impact with kerb on opposite side of road.

1st bounce off hedge on opposite side of road

Wot happened i think on oppposite side of road.

How close to lamp post did we end up.

Oil spillage after oil cooler hit kerb

So overall i think i was lucky with the damage i got as i missed a few hard objects and a ditch that could of made it a lot worse.

I was thinking the same about the bad-boy headlights, but unfortunately they seem to have survived completely intact .

Glad you're okay though and that the car is coming back again (please lose the lights though - pretent they got obliterated in the accident ).
