Using copper pipe as fuel line - good or bad?

i'd go for a stainless type braided line inside the car if i were you, the solid copper could split in the event of a crash etc, not nice consequences of that one

only prob is, braided stuff aint cheap
i wouldnt mind doing my full fuel and brake lines in the stuff, do it once and it lasts dont it if you find a bargain place for it let me know fudge

It isn't cheap, so you will have to pay the price and do it properly.
Just running braided lines and jubilee clipping them on is not the right way to do it. Get everything aeroquipped up properly, or just stick to using the original lines and rubber pipework for any flexible joins.

next time im in the area i might pop into Pirtek and have a chat with them, see if they can supply what im after.
RichardPON, it'd be daft not to have to proper fixings at the end of the lines after spending all the money on braided lines. plus it looks the bollox
